Here is a great idea from a Friend DeeDee
Ok, I'll be the first to post my own attempt at being sneaky. I usually make your basic chicken and rice recipe with brown rice, chicken, cream of mushroom soup and an onion soup packet with water added. Tonight however, I used an Italian dressing packet and added a container of carrots and sweet potatoes! It was obviously yellow/orange so I just put some cheddar cheese on top so it looked like the cheese was the reason for the color! Both McKenna and AnnaB ate it and they are my picky ones! Steve said he thought it was good too and of course Sara Kate and I enjoyed our serving! Yay for baby food! =0)

What a great idea! I found your site via Dee Dee's :) I have put carrots (baby food) into pancake mix before, I know it sounds weird, it made a little more crepe-like, and orange, but they were really good and the kids loved them! make sure to use cooking spray otherwise they will stick.
I also usually add frozen or fresh spinach to my lasagna. The kids never notice!
I have been adding organic sweet potato baby food to their spaghetti sauce. Also, I haven't tried this yet, but read about it in a magazine recently, you can puree fresh spinache, and use it in brownie mix. The dark chocolate color hides the green and covers the taste, they will never know it is in there. And you feel less guilty about feeding them brownies if you know it has fresh spinache in it! :)
